By downloading, registering, or using the KEKE RIDE mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and KEKE RIDE.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use KEKE RIDE. By using the platform you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. Accounts are not transferable.
KEKE RIDE is a technology platform that connects passengers seeking transportation with independent drivers. KEKE RIDE does not provide transportation services directly and is not a transportation carrier. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of KEKE RIDE.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@keke-ride.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
You agree not to use KEKE RIDE for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the platform, its users, or third parties. Prohibited conduct includes: providing false information, using the platform to harass others, attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, and using automated tools to scrape or interact with the platform.
Fares are calculated based on the estimated distance and duration of a ride using our dynamic pricing model. The estimated fare shown at the time of booking may differ from the final fare if the actual route deviates significantly. All fares are presented in Gambian Dalasi (GMD). KEKE RIDE may deduct a service fee from the driver's earnings.
Passengers may cancel a ride request at any time before a driver arrives at the pick-up point. Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension. Drivers who cancel after accepting a ride may face penalties. KEKE RIDE reserves the right to apply cancellation fees in accordance with its current fee schedule.
Drivers are required to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before accepting rides. This includes submitting a valid government-issued ID and vehicle documentation. KEKE RIDE reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any driver account that fails verification or violates these terms.
Both drivers and passengers may be rated after each completed ride. Ratings are used to maintain safety and quality standards on the platform. Users with consistently low ratings may be suspended. Manipulation of the ratings system (e.g., fake reviews) is strictly prohibited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KEKE RIDE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or rides arranged through it. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid through the platform in the three months preceding any claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold KEKE RIDE and its affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified via the app. Your continued use of KEKE RIDE after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the platform.
KEKE RIDE may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of The Gambia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Gambia.
